I have had problems with my 1978 K10 with a 400 small block since I rebuilt the carburetor. The carb had a remanufactured sticker on it, so it must not be original. The carb number is 17057213. The first time I set it to the height in the AutoZone carb kit manual, and this was way too high; gas came out the top of the accelerator pump. My friend lowered the float and it runs, but poorly. I will keep messing with it, but does anyone know what the float level should be?
