I have a summit 750 vacuum secondary carb and the thing decides it wants to dump fuel. its never the same just randomly decides to flood.I have cleaned the needle and seat to no avail. ii have changed the fuel filter and am ordering a needle and seat for both primary and secondary on the carb.

Is there anything im not thinking of? should be able to change those and stop the flooding as long as the floats are good. thoughts and opinions appreciated

Might want to check your fuel pump pressure--if it is putting out too much it'll flood regardless of how good the carb's internal parts are..
It's not often a mechanical pump will put out excessive pressure, but it can happen..

Floats can sink too, especially ones made of foam...brass ones can develop pinholes and sink too,and not do it all the time, depending where the hole develops..

I am running a Holley red pump but I'll check pressure just to be sure

Checked pressure its golden, I changed needle and seats itrh what summit recommended and no more bad dumping so far
