Carb issues, 86 K5

I would pull the top of the carb again and double check . And perhaps remove the filter , and if it is a Quadrajet , take black rubber valve out of filter , throw it across garage , and try it with out it .

BTW , what carb ?

Holy crap Steph, how the hell you been?

Does your carb by chance have an inline filter where the fuel line enters the carb?

I'm alive. I finally got motivated to fix my truck when some retard called code enforcement on me having it parked up in my driveway. It wasn't running so I guess that just ate away at someone. Now they'll be sorry they complained once they hear it run, because it's got loud exhaust. :D

Other than that, um I dunno what to tell you? ;)

Oh and yup, I believe that is the type of filter it has. I'm gonna buy a new one just to see. Why not, it's what, $2-3 bucks. If it's not it, then hey I will toss it on a shelf and use it when I need to change it out.

Take the little black valve out of the filter, and when you find out which neighbor called code enforcment shove it down their throat..jk, but remove that valve, they cause more problems than they solve.
