i have a 454 out of an ss454 silverado that has around 30k on it but it has a carb and edelbrock intake not the tbi setup the engine runs great but is it worth it to switch over to tbi or keep it carbed if i tbi the motor can i use a wild cam, keep my roller rockers and free flowing exhaust...i can get the complete tbi setup for 200$ complete with computer i just dont have much info on fuel injection

TBI.

Better mileage, better power, better wheelability, etc etc etc etc.

TBi is known for hating anything more than a mild cam

If you plan on climbing any good size hills and don't want to stall out in the middle of them if you have to back down, then tbi would be the way to go. un less you like backing down hill without the help of power brakes and power steering.

I'm a TBI fan, also.

You can get a custom chip to run a different (more aggressive) cam. You didn't mention what vehicle this will be installed in, and that's very important.

If you are putting it in a carbureted vehicle and you want to get everything hooked up properly, it's a pretty big job. If the rig is a TBI rig it'll be a lot easier.

Another factor is the transmission you are going to use.
