Carb. or Throttle Body

I have a '86 Burb, will I notice any significant changes by converting over i.e. gas mileage or horsepower increase

If the carb is tuned right they will be about the same.

I picked up a 90 blazer with a stick. I like the throttle body for cold weather turn the key and go back inside, but with the stick it seems the rpms hang up between shifts. It doesn't seem to react as well as a carb to throttle.
