I have a 84 chevy Blazer with a edelbrock Q-jet carb. The truck idles ok but when im driving the truck spuders, cuts out and is really low on power. The only thing i can tell that wrong is that the secondary's aren't opening.

Does any one know why they aren't opening and if this is even the problem?

It's probably your accelerator pump, or a plugged fuel filter. It also might be bad plug wires. When's the last time you did a full tune up?

FWIW, your secondaries won't open with the truck in Park.

just put in a new fuel filter today and it has new wires. not sure about the plugs, because i just bought the truck. i was just messing with it and the secondary is opening now, but its not running right still, its sputtering and the exaust sounds funny
