carb problem?

When driving normally around town my 75' blazer runs fine but When I step hard on the gas pedal the carb sounds like its bogging down,and the truck starts to backfire and lose power. what would cause this to happen?

something to do with the choke pulloff. mines ripped. idk how to fix it lol. i guess ill go back to my edelbrock. ugh
