Okay, Ive given this some thought and wanted to see what ya'll have to say about it.

Here are the specs on my truck

84 K5 - 305cid w/ 125k, 700r, stock motor; except Holley truck avenger 670cfm, Mallory dissy, heddman headers, full dual exhaust with flowmasters.

Now ive had to monkey with the carb to get it not to run too rich. I got this particular carb cuz my quadrajunk crapped out on me and I figured id be getting a GM crate 350 soon, so I got this carb.

The truck runs fine and actually pretty good. But gets horrible gas mileage. Im guessing too much carb and im wasting gas. ANd ive heard that too much gas will jus wash the piston walls down and take oil with it. Not good for a motor.

So here is my question. Leave things be since its running good or sell the 670 and drop down to a 600. I dont want to rebuild or try and monkey with the 670 any more than I already have.

well in that case i'd say go with the 600. you already said you didn't want to mess with the 670 anymore so i'd say go with the 600
