This is probably a dumb question but will a Ford Holley fit a Chevy Blazer?

My bro might sell me his carb for $75, but i want to be sure it will work.

Your stock intake manifold will take a spreadbore carburetor (i.e. Q-jet) and the Holley is a square bore carburetor.

You can buy an adapter at any auto parts store.

Thanks, but other than the adapter plate is there any difference between a Ford and Chevy Carb??

No. Ford Holleys are made to fit square bore manifold. Chevys use spread bore manifolds. Totally diferent carb mounting patterns. You can buy adapter plates or get a square bore manifold if you want to use that carb. Also unless it is a Holly Truck Avenger carb, Holleys suck for off road. Unless you do the modifications required for offroad use.

If it's an OEM Holley carb for a Ford application the calibration may or may not work for an SBC Blazer. Generally speaking, the main jets, Idle calibration may require re-work.
