Carb Question

This is just a gee whiz question. At what RPM's do the 4 barrels open up on a Q-Jet?? Just wondering.

It's not RPM exactly. The secondary valves start opening when the primaries are about 60% open, and they both reach 100% open at the same time. Since the the Q-jet has vacuum operated secondary valves, the top valves open and close depending on the vacuum your engine generates.
