Carb question

I've got the original 305 with a q-jet. It has been needing a rebuild for a while. I finally got around to rebuilding, but my secondaries still don't open. I'm not real familiar with basically any type of carb, so any help would be appreciated.

Ok, I've about determined that the problem has to do with the vacuum system. Is there a diagram of the entire vacuum system somewhere on the net, or does someone happen to have one that they can link me to.

i have some vacuum diagrams. I am not sure if my book goes up to your year. I will check and then scan in for you if I have them. Gotta give me a couple of hours though, headed out to run some errands first before the big snow hits! New Jersey sucks.
