Carb size for 454

I have a 454 with a performer intake headers and an rv cam engine is 30 over and was wondering what cfm carb you guys would suggest I have a 750 edelbrock on it now but just doesnt perform like I want it to

Normally, A 750 is about right. But cfm ratings depend on the engine RPM. What is your MAX rpm turned.

I am not afraid to twist it up to about 5500 rpm!! or a little more if needed no rock crawlin for me just poker runs and mud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
