I just got a fresh 350 built up for me in trade for my crew cab. I need to get a carb for it, im not exactly sure on cam specs didnt write it down but i do remember almost .500 lift intake at .050. separation and stuff i forgot. 10.5:1 comp. would you guys rather go 600 or 650 on the carb? thanks

.500 lift at .5 with 10.5:1 id run a 750cfm personally. 600-650 would be ideal on a mild small block, Head work and a big cam means big carb.

what are you doing with it,and did you say it was bored.I think 600cfm is big enoungh for a 400 I know 650cfm was the recomended size for a stock ford 429 by holly's guild lines when I bought mine. But I dont know for sure on a rebuilt bored motor.hope that helps

Cole, I had those specs and I ran a 600cfm edlebrock on my burb when I built that motor and installed it. Ran great without any troubles.

I kinda posted on my way out the door.If your running biger exhust valves and headers you can run biger cfm's.
You can tell by how your spark plugs burn if you got the cfms and jets right.Get it wrong and you'll crack your rings in time. The reason I ask what your doing with it is unless your racing it some how whats the point of pushing the cfms?
