Need some real world thoughts on open spacers vs. four hole. Current set up, open Phenolic on a Performer intake and Performer carb. It does run good, but is there a turbulence thing going on with the open spacer with the dual plane intake?
Does the four hole really help with low to mid-range? You read all kind of opinions on this topic, i just want to know if it's worth it or not to change it out.
This is for a good running 350. What say yee?

open = mid to upper rpm benefits

4 hole / split = low to mid range benefits

this is what I have learned over the years .

and most street motors basicly stock wont see any real gains on a spacer.

I'm going to say you will never know the difference. I run a edl spacer under my quadrajet just for heat reasons.

Yeah I hear on that. The one I use now is for heat reasons also. Just needed some real world results with four hole to an open spacer. I did not expect any real gains.

Thanks guys.
