today i went riding on and old dirt bike track in my k5 and waz found this steep ass hill the my friends in their jeeps go up. Well they told me to do it but i was like no becasue the angle of the hill is about 55-60 degrees and a normal carb dosent run over a 45 so i was like i cant do it cause no fuel injection then they started dicen me so i said screw yall and just punched it and it climbed right up the hill better than their puny jeeps did. but i though a carb could not run above a 45 degree angle or was this some freak event that me and my k5 had to prove that a jeep is no mach for a chevy.

do you have a quadrajet? they seem to work better than your average carb for offroad. congrats on spankin the heeps BTW

well i went back to the spot today and took pics to show yall the hill but i have to be a member to put up pics

Now that is some muddin!:D

I have been in sitchuations where my carb craped out on me on angles. I have the standard Holley 600 cfm and its only troublesome at idle, when you punch it it seams to still maintain power.

yeah I think a carb is capable of doing that, especially the q-jet since it is one of the best for angles.
