I see 2 different adaptors to mate to either square or spreadbore intakes and wanted to know whats the difference between front and rear mounts on these adaptors? :dunno:

I know it has to do with the placement of the TBI but what are the pros and cons of running front versus rear and vice versa?

Here are the 2 I'm looking at:

And then there's the other one:

cable reach and if front mount might not clear full open of the butter fly's on the intake runners on a qjet style intake.

i got a mid mount and it was about dead perfect for t-cable hook up . made my own bracket cause i was doin tbi/adaptor/edelbrock 4 brrl intake and wanted absolute full throttle function. came out real good.

It's not really going to matter as long as you can make your throttle cable and whatever trans cable connect to the TBI unit. I have a buddy who makes these and I currently have one sitting in my garage as I was going to cut it up to use as a spacer/adapter (the one I have is for a SBC TBI though). The ones I can get are all CNC made.
