Alright I got a Intake, Throttle Body, wire harness, and computer out of my buddies 88 or 89 chevy. What else am I going to need to do this conversion? I know i will need a electric fuel pump and what else?

Knock sensor, VSS, MAP sensor, and a service manual would be helpful also.

Map is coming with computer, he is going from TBI to Carb. VSS? Is that on his truck?

No I dont. If youre using a TH400 check out painless, they have a VSS that will work.
You'll probably need a TBI distributor to connect to that harness. My '87 doesn't have a VSS on the trans. It's got a cable-driven speedo.

90' should be the first year for VSS.
'90 is first year for no speedometer cable/DRAC.
First year of electronic cruise (at latest 1983+) was when VSS appeared in trucks, 1981 for all US GM cars.

Only one to the block is the knock sensor, it goes in one of the two coolant drain plugs. Mine is in the one above the starter.
