I am thinking about swapping out the carbuerated 400SB in my '75 for a 350 with TBI. I need to rebuild the 400. I have a TBI parts truck so availability of parts isn't a big issue. What are the mods that I will have to make? I am already planning to swap out the fuse block/wiring harness due to butchered wiring. I will also probably swap the TH350/NP203 for the 700R4 set up so that I can rebuild that as well.

I haven't really looked over the swap into a vehicle as older as yours, nor TBI in general, but swapping the ENTIRE harness out (cab, engine, etc) is a good idea IMO.

Probably look into swapping the column and cluster as well, that way you don't have to hack up YOUR good harness.

I just put TBI in my 72... you will need all high-pressure fuel lines or hard lines, a fuel return line, inline electric fuel pump, wiring harnesses, TBI, Computer will have to be recalibrated... thats all I can think of right off hand.

Hope that at least helps getting you on the road to FI. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
