I just got an Edelbrock performer manifold for free that will fit my 305. Im going to buy a Holley double pumper 650 cfm. Im just wondering if i should go with mechanical secondaries or vacum. This vehicle is a daily drive, i dont do anything crazy with it yet seeing as its pretty much stock. Any input would be great! Thank you

You don't even need dual pumps , if your going Holley just a vacuum secondaty single pump 4160 will do fine for a 305 albeit a little big for it . I would go Quadrajet since most intakes are double drilled :k5: :k5:

all vacuum secondaries are single pump, correct? iirc, double pumper is just another term for mechanical secondaries.. i actually have one sitting downstairs from a 455.. need to sell that..

oh, and 2 votes to go Quadrabog.. :thumb:
