can somebody tell me what kind of carburetor this is? the bumper of this truck has edelbrock carburetor stickers on it just curious if that is actually what this is?

also the these vacuum lines seem messed up something fierce. there are T with nothing connect to the other side, and problems all over. I'm wondering what all these things do, and which ones are needed?

is there somewhere I can get a schema of where these go?

stock, you can get vacuum schematics at autozone.com in the repair info section. just register and go to repair info, vehicle repair guides, drivability & emissions, and there should be a link on the left column.

if I don't live in a state that requires emissions what can I jerk out / pull out without affecting how the vehicle runs?

I don't know what you can remove because I don't know what you have, but on my truck all I have hooked up is the heater valve, brakes, vacuum advance, PCV, transmission, and cruise control.
