hello guys,

when can i know that its time to give my carburetor an overhaul??

another question, would it be better if to change to fuel injection rather than a standard carburetor system?? i use my truck as a day to day car.. plus i like to play in the sand and going up and down dunes!!

If you've got the money, fuel injection is definitely better.

I don't know of a good indicator for when to rebuild a carb. I would base it on how dirty the bores look, engine performance, and how long it's been since it was done before - if ever.

If you're going to rebuild the carb, might as plan on doing a general tune-up. Plugs, wires, cap, & rotor.
