I'm looking for a source for the aluminum trim piece for the cargo area rug that screws to the floor at the rug's edge and ends up under the tailgate when it's closed. I would call it a sill plate and my body guy calls it a scuff plate.
Thanks in Advance.

Thats a hard one to find in useable shape, junk yard, saw one once on ebay but went for some crazy high price or someone has one laying around. One of the things i look for on my trips to the yards but very few k5 around here.

how much luck do you have? If I find my old one in the garage, it's your for shipping.

On that note, I have two pairs of door/carpet sills that could use a home too.

Cool,
that sounds good. A decent long cardboard tube works great. Of course I've got one here but that doesn't help. Let me know if you find it.

I have also been thinking of taking what I got to the metal shop and seeing if they can bend one up out of SS. That should work well if they will do it for a decent price.

I have a few...

Man that is what I love about this place! We all try to help each other with our addiction to these old trucks. I said it before and will say it again I love my CK5 family.

Irish that looks brand new! Now he is one step closer to his dream.

Was just sitting on the "throne" and going thru the mags in the rack. Found my Classic Parts catalog and took a look through. Low and behold I find on page 16, "Bed Floor Sill Plate". Yup, it's the correct piece for $69.95. Part #16-414. I need to order another pull strap from them also as I only ordered one and it didn't match the gray one I already had so I need another.

Sorry to bump an old thread but I am looking for the same part for my 1974 Blazer. I haven't had any luck finding one any where. If anyone knows where I could locate one that would be awesome!

Last resort would be fabing and forming one up my myself.

Thanks in advance.

They used to be on LMC but I have not seen them recently. Looks like time to get some diamond plate or some aluminium strip with a sheet metal brake or some way to roll an edge.
