So, I never intended to wheel this weekend, but my buddies and I headed for the hills to do a little shooting. Well, we headed up to Slaughterhouse, and I just couldn't resist just a couple of runs. I'm climbing up this wall, about two or three feet tall, out of a mudhole, revving pretty high, when I hear the dreaded BANG. Yup, Front u-joint of the rear driveshaft freaking grenaded! /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif Totally destroyed my slip-joint, but I think the driveshaft itself is OK. Good thing I was stopped and spinning the tires when it happened! Long drive home though, in front wheel drive at 30 mph. Haven't gotten to look at it close yet, but hopefully no damage to the t-case. INTERCEPTOR is going to walk me through the repair, thank God! The only time I learn how to work on my rig is when I break it. Three cheers for INTERCEPTOR!!! Now, my wife wants me to sell the Violator.
