Carpet adhesive

I just picked up this used rug from a C10 to cut-up and use in my K5... which I did. Bottom is a bit crusty but for my purposes, which was to cover the killomat it’s just fine.

Anywho....
Any recommendations on an adhesive that will stick to the killamat sound deadner? Will a double stick tape work?

I used a few zip ties through the rug around the driver and passenger side to keep it from sliding forward. But I’d lik a way to keep it more flush to the floor. Especially around the gas pedal and over the transmission bump.

Is there a less than permanent adhesive I’d like to be able to pull and clean if needed.

Velcro ??

I ordered a double stick tape from amazon. I don’t want it to be permanent... yes, Velcro would probably be a good option if this tape doesn’t work out..
