I got my carpet today but when I got the 1975 jimmy it was bare metal so the carpet was already gone.
When installing the front section is there suppose to be a metal strip or such behind the front seats to hold it down?
Also with the rear section how is it help at front section?
I do have a rear tailpin section metal strip that I assume is used for the rear section.
That’s pretty banged up but looks usable until I find a replacement...
How does the carpet get help down in front by the feet is it as simple as just using spray glue?
Anything else needed or that I might need to know before install.

I am pretty sure that there is a trim piece that goes over the joint in the carpet. I have a '90 that does, but I know that it is stepped in a different place than your truck.
As far as where you can find a replacement, I don't know of anywhere but used. There is a guy making a new one for the rear, but I can can't remember where to find it. Maybe just Google it?
But I would also bet that you will need some spray adhesive in several areas to keep stuff in place. I had to with the insulation in mine.
