my truck came with-out carpet so I am not sure if I am missing a lot of pieces that may be needed to hold the carpet in place.
I did herculine the interior but decided to buy a soft top for myself for Xmas so was debating wheaten or not to add some carpet to help keep noise down a bit and a cleaner appearance.

Any feedback on carpet choices ect also greatly appreciated.....

Did this thread die? I too am interested in carpet options for my single cab

No holes but pretty easy to cut small holes with scissors or knife and then cut accordingly

What about sound deadening and things of the sort? I see on rockauto you can get some similar carpet with "mass backing" (insulation I assume), but did you do any floor lining or anything?

I preferred not to get the mass backing as standard will dry quicker and lay easier just my opinion

1999-2003 tahoe suburban Denali ect standard with integrated seat belts fronts and backs those years

Any of you guys have any issues with that liner? I've heard some say it sounds like driving in a drum. Noise resonance or something like that....

I didn't use dynamat or any of the name brand stuff. I used the 6" x 25' rolls that my local Home Depot had and did my single cab. Carpet that I found had a good amount of padding underneath, and it made the whole cab pretty quiet once door skins and dash pad went back in. I still get the usual wind noise from the doors and such but I would say its a drum. Huge improvement and well worth the time and effort overall

I used some crappy brown indoor/outdoor carpet from Lowes in one of my trucks to cut noise, but I didn't run the top or doors on that truck.

That looks great, I just installed LMC carpet yesterday and yours looks like it fits better and is smoother. Do you know anyone with the center trim that goes behind the driver passenger seat on the step?

Ordered ACC for mine - oem quality. Cheaper to buy from rockauto than direct. You can have them send you samples too.

I will answer my own question :D.. I just used one box. At 60 bucks a box I just got as much as I could and it seemed to do really well!

What year truck did you get the seats and center jump seat from? I really like the way that would function.
