Ok I got an 88 R30 Crew Cab. The inside is in good shape but I want to put in a new carpet to give it better selling points and just freshen it up a bit. Anyone know of a good source for a decent price? All I have looked at so far was JC Whitney and they run around $185 which I dont know is a good price or not.

JC Whitney has some good carpet IMO. I had Auto Custom Carpets set in my K5 for while and it fit very well....

How about LMC? They have a lot of good stuff. JC Whitney would be a good place too.

I've used one of those kits..
they fit nice..

The LMC kit I installed in my k5...

But...they could given more material to go under the dash more..
It's just a little short.. /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

So in your opinion you think the JC Whitney quality is better than LMC for carpet? /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

I have always heard that JC stuff didn't fit all that well and when I bought new wheel well trim from them I was convinced. /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

No...I'd say it's a tossup!!!!
Both deal with many carpet manufactures...
So it doesn't really matter...
depending on your location...
the kit may be made by the same manufacture...

I've gotten JC Whitney kit's that were made by Cleveland Carpet...
and they make High priced carpet kits...
so I was happy as hell!!! /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

Go to one of your local auto upolstery shops and see what they can get. They will have samples and it is alot easier to match colors and actually see what you are buying.

Auto Custom Carpets is the best... /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif It fit perfect in my K5 and looks awesome. People ask me what upolstery shop did mine. I say "My shop" /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif
