the back butterflies on my 4 barrel arent opening when i lay the hammer down. any help on what the problem is and how to fix it , or a good replacement.

80 blazer with 350, 33x12.50s, dont know the rest yet, just got it.

How do you know this? What is your "testing" method. Sitting still, moving under power, in what gear? Could be a linkage problem, air movement thru carb or something stuck. Your question doesn't give much info as to what is happening "when I lay the hammer down".

Also what model and size is the carb? My 1406 (carter clone) has vac secondaries and their opening point can be tuned with lighter or heavier springs.
