Where in the world can i find it? i did a google search and never really found the exact one for sale, just a mass of fuel pumps.

Can i get it at autozone by chance? sure would be nice as i work at the zone.

:doah::confused:Wait, you work at AutoZone and don't know if you can get a part when you've even got the part number?

Maybe if you give us the year/make/model, we can give it back to you so you can look it up that way?:doah::haha::haha:

before you go being a smartass, i havent been by there in a few weeks cause i have another full time job somewhere else and had rotator cuff surgery.

Second of all, its a universal inline fuel pump that everyone recommends to use for a tbi swap.

Thanks for your gracious help that you had to offer me...

I'm sorry, it was a cheap shot. That's not normally my style, but you (and Auto Zone generally) sure made it easy! Come on, you have to see how that's funny.

Now you've made me feel guilty. I don't know if you can find it at AutoZone. But here it is at Summit. Took me about 45 seconds to find it.

You want me to stop by AutoZone later and ask them for you?

try summitracing
Or get a Walbro inline TBI pump #GSL395. Should be able to order from many auto parts stores.
No i dont work in a auto parts store. That is why i know how and where to find the right part.

I've been working auto parts for about 6 years, I'm headed back to the east coast as we speak ( picking up the rest of my junk ) the store I worked at carried Carter. I'll check with them tomorrow. There may be a couple other models that are more common/avail. I sold a lot of universal pumps.... (worked in vermont, some of the most versitle people when it comes to making stuff work.... kinda) But they're good people!

had to be a d!ck and search it too...09 sec for google to get er done. funniest post ever i just read it aloud to the people in my house although a little drunk it still hurts from laughin so hard.

I'll be nice and skip on the Autozone employee jokes, guy's gotta make a living.

Try an E2000 pump. A-Z should have it on the shelf for around a 100 bucks. Make sure and use a filter or screen before the pump and it'll work good for you.

E2000 pumps will work but they are not self priming like the Carter or Walbro.
If you have a low tank of gas, climb a steep hill or sidehill, and the pump sucks air. Your engine will die and the pump may not reprime itself unless more gas is added or, Manually primed.

The E2000s prime just fine, been using them for years on all my TBI swaps with no problems whatsoever. I don't even mount them very low. Just make sure the pre-pump filter stays clean and all will be fine.
