So I am putting my new 44 in the front of my s10 and getting ready to set up caster. But to get6* i have to end up with a narly pinion angle. I was informed that hydrulic assist negates the affect of good caster (with HA it wont return to center but it will fight death wobble). Is this true. Or will HA not help my possibly bad caster (i am thinking of going 1 or 2* so I still have a decent pinion) This will be driven to and from the trails as well as some highway.

Caster helps your steering return to center and helps the vehicle track straight down the road.

Hydro assist will not make your steering return to center.

Unless you have unbelieveably bad death wobble, hydro assist will eliminate it. If you don't drive the truck on the road much, who cares about caster anyway?
