My friend took out a deer last night with his 2006 Duramax. Anyone have suggestions for aftermarket bumpers, preferably beefy deer proof versions.

These guys make nice ones. Their name is even Buckstop Inc. I like the good ole Ranch Hand bumpers also. I did a Move Bumper on a super duty at work and it was a nice one for the money. Lot's cheaper doing weld it your self.

This is what he decided to go with. Only $1000 out of pocket after approx $1000 credit for not replacing the factory front bumper, fog lights, etc. He had a few delays waiting on the body shop but installed it shortly after getting it back from the body man.
