Well my cat is toast. Gotta get a new one, but preferably one thats a little less restrictive then the stock one. Any suggestions for a good cat thats decently priced??

Check out Catco universal hi flow converters. Summit Racing carries them. I ran them and was pleased.

3" straight pipe could try taking ur stock one off, and gutting it.

Well I did just pass inspection so me and my pops were thinking of just throwing a piece of pipe on there... Ive already got a Flowmaster so noise isn't really an issue for me hhahah

If it is a 3" in and out I have a Catco that was on my K5 that I will sell. I took it off to go with headers and duals. It has 10 to 15k on it.

X2 they have a direct fit one, and you still pass your truck inspection.

I used Hedman Headers with A.I.R to a dual 2.5" exhaust with dual Magnaflow Cats and dual FlowMaster Hushpower II mufflers.

I just looked on JEGS and all of their Cats say that they cannot be sold or shipped to California, but that shouldn't be a problem for you.
