For non-California light trucks, including Blazers, the last non-catalytic converter year should be 1978. Starting 1979, light trucks and vans had catalytic converters.

Should I be concerned with any other smog control devices that may or may not be connected to this truck? I have not owned this truck but for a few weeks. I am trying to get it ready for inspection. I just got the exhaust system replaced. The stock exhaust had leaks all over. I replaced with ceramic coated hedders and Flowmaster exhaust.
