Cell phone mount, what are you using?

I use Steelie mounts in my stuff. I also repurposed steelie mounts for my mics for the radios in my Blazer too.

I don’t have a cell mount, but I use ram mounts for my iPad and surface

I used to use the ram mounts but the two hand operation was inconvenient at times. I've been using Mob Armor magnetic mounts for a couple years now and they work great. I have them in the 3 pickups I drive. Only time the magnet doesn't hold is if it gets hit with something. I have a big Samsung Note phone.

I used mag mounts in my old suburban without A/C so I had the mount in the pocket where the vent would be. I’m looking at using a mount to put it on the console now. Once I swap in a 2015+ RAM console that is.

Quick-grip is 1 hand, so kind of confused. Don't understand why mag-mount is relevant.

My brother has bulletpoint mounting solutions in his Jeep. He likes them

I just use this: https://www.amazon.com/Mob-Armor-MobNetic-Maxx-Smartphone/dp/B08Y616KWX/ref=sr_1_4?crid=2K9GWOK7P7F6I&keywords=mob+armor&qid=1682828756&sprefix=mob+armor,aps,124&sr=8-4&th=1 with the sticky back plate on the back of the phone case. In the 66, that mount I linked can magnetize straight to the metal dash. In the other trucks I added adhesive backed steel discs for the mount to magnetize to.
Would that work well on windshield? Does the rotating ball piece stay in the exact place you put it or does the weight of the phone eventually make it change positions? Thats the main concern i have and why i haven’t bought one of these types of mounts yet

:dunno::thinking::surepal:Always used the ram x mount in the cranes mostly bc liebherr comes with them I don’t like that it’s a two handed operation to put your phone in them. So I put one in my blazer

I haven't had it move unwanted yet.

I have had disappointment with cheap stuff, which is why I'm going all RAM brand now.
