Center Console mismatch

Just tried to fit a 88 Burb center console in my 87 K5 and the orginal holes dont line up. Its kinda like the whole console is just a little off. It's orginal Burb part. I dont want to drill new holes. Anybody else run into this problem? I thought Burb and K5 were the same.

The floors are different between burbs and blazers in the front seat area. Blazers have a flat floor and hump for the tranny/tcase tunnel. Burbs have a very similar if not exact floor as a truck. That might be the issue of the slight hole mounting mismatch. Also, are your floor mounts bent at all to where you are getting your mismatch?
