so...my truck didnt come witha factory center console, found a mint one at the salvage yard, how the hell do you mount these things, is there a bracket or something???

the yard didnt have one...and i looked in the burb that it came out of.

there is a slightly raised bracket for the back... heck, i've got an unused one floating around the garage somewhere. i'd send it to ya if i knew where it was...

2 bolts up front go right thru the floor. the bracket bolts to the floor, then the console to that.. it only sits up about 3/4" or so.. you could prolly make a couple spacers to go under the rear mounting holes to take up the gap...

so the bracket mounts to the floor and the console to that huh...

are they metal or plastic??

5 months ago there were like 4-5 burbs and a k5 at the yard, now they are all gone..

metal.. its about an inch wide and like 8" long iirc... runs from side to side, kinda across the end of the hump... kinda like low tab, steps up, goes across, steps down, low tab.. has welded nuts to it for the console to bolt to it...

like i said, maybe a couple blocks of metal, or plastic drilled and run the console bolts right to the floor...
