Center Console Pix

Evening fellas, I'm kinda in the middle of my build and am thinking about the interior. I've got an 88 V30 crew and eventually I'm gunna full length cage it w a convertable top and seats in the bed. I'd like to use six Beard, Corbeau, or the like seats, two front, back and in the bed. I'm entertaining the idea of running a metal center console from the dash to the rear bulk head containing an Art Carr shifter, lock boxes, drink holders, subs, etc... Dose anyone have pix of a center console kinda of like what I'm looking at doing?

I have something similar but its for a ford bronco, you could probably atleast use it as a beginning idea?

Oh nice! I hadn't even considered making it out of wood and them upholstering it! Cool, I dig it.. It's so easy that way to get the contours right...

I got a quote from a boat shop. Was thinking of doing the center console out of plywood and having them glass and gel coat it once finished. I think that would hold up plenty well. Haven't done it yet hahaha

It looks like you you added some kind of padding before the upholstery? What was that step? Any thoughts of doing this with fiber glass instead?
