wow that is just too nice! i spit my chew on my floor...lol

I wonder if I could use the stock transfer case shifter and housing on a raised console with a cable to replace the linkage? Any thoughts?

Kert's is the closest to what I'm planning, although mine will house the LCD screen / computer / stereo in the area where the gauges and switches are.

Edit: Kert, that reminds me... I take it that this is the truck with the electronic t-case shifting?? I know that my stock shifter won't work with this setup. I have been planning to use a cable shifter (provided something can be adapted to an NP-208...).

looka AWESOME Kert!

yup, Kert's is very similar to what my new one is gonna look like...tho I'll be in composite and a tad bit more tucked in.. I'm gonna be running the Megasuirt LCD in mine, but I LOVE that laptop bracket gig... might have to steal that idea....

Yep, this is the one with the electronic tcase shifters. Ya know, I don't remember what the shifter looks like on an NP208 at all. For some reason a long threaded rod comes to mind.....

Laptop mount served two purposes. Obviously the first, to hold the laptop. Second was to hide a big hole some PO cut in the dash metal with, maybe a chisel and a hammer.... All hidden away now though.

I think you're right... My memory is a bit fuzzy after last night's festivities :doah: but I do recall that it attaches to the case with a fairly simple "square peg in square hole" arrangement. I can't imagine that even I would have trouble adapting a pre-existing product to it, even if it meant having a local machine shop fab up a couple of small pieces.

I'll probably end up buying a 205 cable shifter and doing just that.

Here's a pic when I installed a set of '04 Silverado seats and center jumper...

This is in my heep

The color matches better than the pic shows. I made the front piece and wired switches in as the YJ days nothing for dash space.

Found this thread while I was looking for some info on swapping in Volvo seats. Here is mine, its a 2015 Dodge center console with the jump seat under it. 6 cup holders if you can get the lower plastic section with it it. Lockable, some still have the usb and 12v socket left in them. I made brackets so the lid is at the proper arm rest height for me.

Nice. I'm trying to figure out how I want to put the dodge front seats in also. I really like them in my dodge so I bought another set.

I like the Dodge seats, the are firm and comfortable, and that console kicks butt all the way around.

I love that beast of a console! Are those rifle racks on the floor behind the drivers seat? Oh yeah!
