Is there an advantage to using 87 and up heads on a 350 versus pre 87 heads? The valve cover has an opening for a breather on the passenger side (the one that would go to the air filter) but every breather fitting I tried has a nipple that will not fit the opening in the valve cover. I thought about opening up the valve cover some.

i no a little bit about engines, but ive heard that TBI heads have very poor flow. and most people that want performance switch to a different head, but the intake manifold bolts have a different angle,so u have to be sure to get the correct manifold to work with TBI and the older heads. im sure someone hear can tell u much more.
