Ceramic coated header durability??

I see JBA has a freakin TITANIUM CERAMIC COATED STAINLESS shorty header out..

wonder how much better a titanium ceramic coating is than a silver ceramic? Don't recall hearing or reading on that tech difference, hmmmm.. :confused:

This thread has got me thinking tho, especially with the year issue with the Hooker ones, for a full length header... I'm gonna have to stop by Johnny's shop this week with a 6-pack and see how he feels about making me some... maybe we can figure a way to make a tuned pair of stainless...

This is another reason I need to learn TIG! :haha:
 
i got mine from dougs headers not doug thorley and he gave me lifetime i think on the cotaings.and he is local to me thats why i went with them. they hit the frame on the pass had to nothch it about 1/2 and inch for one pipe no biggie and the come close to the motormout on the driver other than that no complaints . they are about 6 months old some light mud and water crossings still look new. we will see once the mud starts here .


dougs is owned by pertronix now.
