I decided to gamble a bit after reading some posts here about CFM-Tech kind of being non responsive to Emails or orders.Anyways, I placed a bit of a large order with them 15 minutes ago so I guess we will see how this turns out. I will keep updating this first post as info rolls in.

9-24-12 3:46PM PST - Order confirmation email at 3:46 PST
9-27-12 7:00AM - No charge on CC yet
9-27-12 9:30AM - Called CFM-Tech no answer and their mailbox was full.
9-27-12 10:15AM - Found RVmorsemachine.com and emailed them and asked if in fact they are in business and have the parts they say they do
9-27-12 11:00AM - Email response from Roy Morse Owner of RVmorsemachine and confirmed parts and prices
9-27-12 1:50PM - Roy Morse called me after I left him my number. Confirmed and placed order
9-27-12 1:55PM - Cancelled payment amount to CFM-Tech
9-27-12 2:04PM - Received Email from RVmorsemachine with UPS tracking number with a ETA for Monday Oct 1st.

UPDATED:
9-28-12 12:50PM - CFM-Tech just called to verify the order and said they are running behind on the bored TBs. I had informed them that I have cancelled the order.

I talked with Roy for a bit and told him what was going on and mentioned to him about the "flakyness" of CFM-Tech of late and he was reluctant to say he has heard the same thing considering RVmorse supplies most the parts to CFM-Tech. I ended up ordering more then he shows on his site so he mentioned maybe putting more items up like the injector pod spacer and as going to see about carrying the Hypertech "Salad Bowl".

Fact is I found another source and in fact CFM-Tech's source for our throttle body upgrades and needs. When i get these parts I will post up all the info I can and pictures along with results after the install.

NOTE: Prices at RV More Machine are much better and definitly better customer service. Roy wanted to make sure I was getting the right parts and for the right application.

I had no issues with them and i spent about 500.. that was about 4 yrs ago tho.....

I am hoping its a smooth transaction, they have a lot to offer for the TBIs! I have faith!:waytogo:

Its typical that you rarely hear about the good transactions of company X but you always hear the bad ones.

Adj Regulator, spacer, etc?

Tip. To help in rebending the fuel lines, leave them connected, and unbolt the TBI. Grab the whoel thing, and lift straight up, about an inch and a half, and purposly tweak the lines JUST A BIT.

This will make reinstalling the lines, when the TBI is 1" higher, significantly easier.

Read the first post for time stamps. Lack of communications and no charges. It had actually started on the 21st when I sent an email regarding a question.

even after I placed an order no emails, called and mailbox was full. they finally called ME 4 days later and just to tell me half the parts were back ordered.

During which time I had found the guy that supplies CFM with a lot of their TBI stuff and had placed an order and much cheaper and with awesome communications.

So like I said, I was called by CFM-tech on 9-28 to tell me my order was being finalized and that some parts were on back order. I told them to CANCEL.

Well I kid you not I just got an email just now from them saying my order was canceled this morning! :haha::haha::haha::haha::haha:

I dont think CFM knows what they are doing.
