I installed this kit on my 90 Blazer w/ 350 TBI & TH400, stock tires, 3" lift. I had previously put headers & Edelbrock muffler, MSD ignition and took off the cat with no real difference in power.
But wow this was the best $290 I have spent to date on the engine.
I boosted my fuel pressure up from @ 11psi to @ 13.7 psi and it really boosted my low end mid-range, with a little on top too. Gas mileage went up just like they say in the article at CFM-Tech's web page. Now I can get @ 15.5mpg(checked it twice now). Also added a K&N filter. That's with conservative driving of course.
Just wanted to pass along a good thing I tried.

I have the full cfm tech package TB, spacers, charger, adj, etc..... Other than the jump from upping the fuel pressure, the power charger is the best mod.. That salad bowl really opens up the air flow...

I am also runing the complete CFM-tech package along with a 590 cfm TB + K&N
IMO, besides headers and good exhaust. It is the best bang for the buck on a TBI engine.
More power better gas MPG. Cant go wrong there.:thumb:

93 sub, I got the whole package guage and all so I could tell what the pressure was at. I couldn't get the pressure reg. installed as there is a vac. port right where the threaded shaft should pass by on the TB. I tried to use a shorter screw and the thread must be special to those cause it actually just ruined the thread and the reg. Ordered a new one, and when I get around to it I will just cut it down and take the knob off and use a wrench to turn it for adjustments(expensive mistake). I'm sitting right at 13 psi now stock. Anyone else run into something like this? I went from almost 11 mpg to almost 12 and that was the whole reason for it, Do you think I will see more once I get that put in? was hoping to get close to 15 on an almost stock sub.

BigFancyName,

I encountered the vacuum port also, but it was easily bent out of the way to allow operation of the screw.
The bigger problem I found is they don't give you a grommet to plug the access hole in the body that is open when you install the screw, so I had to come up with my own to keep the dirt out.
Good Luck on your installation.

I just went and installed the regulator. I couldn't bend the vac port out of the way far enough to get the screw in still. But since I had 2 screws anyway from the other reg. I cut the red plastic off the older one and it is a allenhead screw with a cover. Now I can pull it off even with the screw installed. But even without the screw in with the new regulator I am siting at 15 psi so I need to get an earlier, lighter rate spring and adjust it from there. Till then I am going to run it at 15 or so and see what happens. Has anyone modded the intake other than the salad bowl? Like cutting the bottom out to match the bowl?

If by "modding the intake" you mean the air cleaner housing.
You should cut the bottom of the air cleaner housing to match the opening on the power charger. Then rivet the PC to the housing and seal with RVT.
