Chainsaw rack?

Not a heavily sought after item for you guys I know but for us up here in the mountains, chainsaws are always carried in the truck. I am sick of having one bouncing around in the back of my trucks and need to weld up something to put them on the outside. The new project truck will be getting one as well as my dozer. yes I have about 6 chainsaws but I hate not having one where I need it. I've googled around and seen a few but I was wondering if you guys came up with anything different.

Maybe you could make a bracket to put one on the inner fender where the OEM jack was?

You could go the DIY route and make one out of a milk crate and ratchet strap it to the bed ...

or a piece of lumber bolted to the bed with a slot for the bar to go through. Can fit several that way ...

I have built a couple like that. For $70, I will not make another one. Just buy one.

Ive seen guys just run a 4x4 or 4x6 across the front of the bed with slots cut in it to stand the saw vertical. Keeps the chain from being in contact with metal too.

Our local utility trucks have the chainsaw box bolted down on top of the tool boxes. That is a good way to have the same thing without having to drill the box and be able to move it to another vehicle.
