1977 Chevrolet Blazer, READ!!! $30K I DON'T NEED TO SELL IT! So save me your story. Im putting up my 1977 Blazer Chalet. Over all very good condition! Runs great! Very clean! Lots of upgrades! Ready for the great outdoors! I hadn't planned on selling it but im constantly being asked. The price tag on it is 30 THOUSAND and that's it! No trades! Only 1800 ever made and extremely hard to find. If this is your dream vehicle then here you go. Feel free to message me for more information and pics. DO NOT ASK THE PRICE! (That means you didn't read) I could care less to sell it so Yes it's a big price and if you feel it's to much good luck finding another but please don't waste my time trying to negotiate. [Seller Information Timothy Stein]

A couple weeks back, I let the seller know it was my former rig, and that the bill of sale / AZ DOT title I photocopied & saved showed 121,000 miles. That seemingly prompted him to take out the "Only 22k original miles!" declaration he had in his description. But since I got no reply, I re-contacted him again to ask if he was curious to know what I fixed in it when I had it, and to ask what was up with his new added bit about "So save me your story". Out of a desire to keep the peace, let's just say his reply was ...... umm ... unfriendly. I should have guessed about the all-caps wording in the ad and the attitude about the added line.

It sure shined up nice when I had it, I got $8500 for it in 2010, and a subsequent ebay auction (captured at this ebay listings aggregator site) for it after it had been sitting out in the Indiana elements for several years only netted $7100. In the seller's "1973-1991 K5 Blazer" Facebook group post and in the Marketplace listing, I was sad to see more little rust spots than when I had it, and all the patina rust in the stainless steel cooktop plate that I had laboriously wiped out has returned.

...every blazer is a $30,000 blazer...
Must be nice to be guys having so much money to burn that they don't care if they could have saved half their money by doing a day or so worth of internet research to find a similar one not being hawked by a classic car dealer/flipper. Or to find the same rig at half or less the price before it gets snagged by a dealer/flipper. The last I saw of my Chalet before this latest ad was a mid-2017 Asheville N.C. Craigslist ad at $9500, in the identical condition it is in now. Testament to the thriving economy if the thing gains 3x in value, I guess. Or something.

I just checked the listing, don't have a FB account anymore but it looks like he changed his tune. This is the description I see when I load it now:

Please read! If any of you are interested im gonna have to sell my 77 K5 Blazer Chalet. Runs excellent! It has a new Holley Sniper EFI on it, new A.C. compressor, new battery, new radiator, hoses, belts and more... It's ready to go and the only things I believe it needs are a new canvas for the pop up and has a few rust spots on the quarter panel's (no frame rust) Im asking 20k simply so I break even. Im located in Hartford City Indiana but can also work out delivery if interested. They only made 1780 of these ever and only about 700 left accounted for. I Don't want to sell it but unfortunately health issue's/expenses are more important lol If interested message me for more info. Thanks

Wow. So he does need to sell it after all. Last Thursday I got an even more hostile Facebook message from the guy, but I suggested he calm down and was maybe angry over some larger issue, not at me for pointing out my documents' official 121,000 miles declarations. I haven't logged back into FB yet, I'll have to do so maybe later tonight when I have time to see if he has actually calmed down. If he paid $20k for it, my guestimate is that was $10k more than it was worth from the 2017 N.C. Craigslist asking price. Meanwhile, judging from another guy claiming on FB back in March that #1747 was his rig, this current seller has only owned it 6 months or less.
