What's up with all the overspray on the undercarriage?The starter,the oiil filter,the shocks.Someone trying to dress it up.

Looks like a ****ty cheap make over to me. Overspray on the door latches, the under carriage and motor as you mentioned. new paint with new upholstery. Probably hiding some stuff under there. Still really fcukin cool and I would love to own it.
It has been listed many times over the last year. It never makes it to the reserve.

Yep, it's on the 17th listing since last June. Non-original engine, which I already informed the seller about. Too bad there's not more of a buyers market to get the demand up, the rarity of the orange/tan color combo and that it seems to be a genuine factory '77 with a '76 camper ought to be worth something to a Chevy collector who has oodles of money. But rare factory combos are lots more important for the car auction nuts buying Yenko Camaros instead of big ol' campers.

(pics, or it didn't happen)XX Actually, it did sell back on Aug 10 for $9,900, but then showed right back up for another 9-day run days later. As I mentioned over in this other thread, the amount of bids/dollar figures makes me wonder....
Still not saying it is any kind of major ripoff, though, but the 'market' for this one may not reflect what the seller wants for it.

Might be a cheap makeover, but still pretty clean for a Chalet. Makes you wonder what you're not seeing in the pics though.
One is plenty enough for me, thanks, got no place to store two of 'em and right now it isn't exactly practical for me to work on the one I own. Wish I could have bought a home with a big back yard before the Phoenix housing boom went nuts. Now I don't have money to get the cheaper homes....
