i installed a gently-used lift kit on my blazer a few years ago. blocks, not springs or shackle flip...and of course blocks are lame. sooooo....several months ago i acquired some chalet springs (why not? free is free) and am curious how much higher they might ride than normal k5 springs. the pack is about 3/4" thicker and i'm thinking they would hold their arch more. i realize the ride would be really stiff but this would be another temporary measure...just a better one than blocks potentially imo.
anybody tried something like that? i'm guessing MAYBE gain 2". that would be ok because the lift springs in the front are about 3.5" higher than stock. would level the k5.
really wanted to ask instead of swapping parts and then saying...oh crap, that didn't work so well.
