Well I was at Sams club and I saw a 7000 lb Champion Winch was looking at it and was wondering wheter or not they were any good comes with a 12 ft controller mounting plate for 250. Im sure there probally no good but does anyone have any experience with them, might be better to keep my eyes open and find a Warn or a Ramsey.

I looked over the champion info but the winch I was looking at seems a bit small for pulling a stuck pickup. So another question what are your opinions on the High lift jacks and how would you use them for pulling/winching any pics of high lift in action. there selling the high lift jacks for 52 $ at TSC and thought that was a more feasable option. I mean I havent gotten stuck yet but havent wheeled too hard core so thats why but am expecting the inevitable soon enough

I would recommend a 60" hi-lift. I have 2. I have used it to winch my 5000 lb 2000 sierra. It is almost necessary when trail riding. a winch is great but if you have a strap, a hi-lift, some tools, a fire extinguisher, and general wrenching abilities you are ready to wheel.

A cheap winch is better then no winch, but do not skip the basics. I have gotten out of countless jams with a hi-lift or a strap, or both.
