was out workin on the blazer today and decided to throw in the new glow plugs that came with the truck. i started getting the old ones lose and i got all 4 on one side lose and when i pulled one it looked like this... should i go ahead and through in the new ones? or just leave the old ones?
Test the old ones, then change out any bad ones. If you check the amp draw, I think you should expect 16-18 amps at first, then falling down to around 12 after they've glow for a few seconds.
i believe the 11g's have a propensity to expand when "over-glowed" so swapping to a 60g or a quick heat brand may be good to do so you don't have to worry about exanded plugs stuck in the head.
