I bought an Edelbrock 850 Q-jet. and the electric choke dont work, i dunno if i messed it up or what, but can i change to mechanical or manual? if so how much $$$ is involved, also does anyone have this carb? how do you like it?

If you dont make it the first time, Drink another beer, and press a little harder on the gas

on my my quadrahog the kit was $12 and the install looked easy, but i used the hardware to controll my idle. so i can now drive without using the gas pedal, its like a hand throttle. its so trick

I think it would be easier and cheaper to just fix the existing electric choke.. what exactly is "wrong" with it? why do you say it doesnt work?
