Can the temp ranges in tuner cat be changed from celcius to farenheight? I hate that celcius thing! I'm trying to get use to tuner cat to see which I like better.

Celcius is so easy though. 0 C water freezes, 100 C it boils. 20 C is perfect "room temp". 30 C is a perfect summer day...

I do not know of a way to change the "units of measurement" in Tuner Cats.

There are online conversion websites. http://www.onlineconversion.com/

What I like best about TunerCats is the "Compare" presentation. I posted a screen shot showing the "Compare" differences between a 350 chip and a 454 chip. Notice the "Negative" & "Positive" numbers ... a "ZERO" ( 0 ) means the the parameter is the same. TunerPro does not do the "MATH" in the "Compare" presentation.

Ok if you modify a BIN file in TunerPro and then open it in TunerCat will it open normal or will it look strange? I have a "stock" bin file that I tried in both programs and it open just fine, however if I open a file in TunerCat that I modified in TunerPro it seems way out of wack. Like IAC vs Temp viewing the graph in TunerPro its a clean sloping line but that BIN opened in TunerCat and view IAC vs Temp its looks like the mountins, up an down spikes everywhere and it makes no sense? Ever come across that!?

When I modify a .bin using TunerPro I use Save As before making modifications. Example - I open ANLW.bin in TunerPro, then Save As ANLW_No_Emissions.bin. Then I make the "No Emission" changes the ANLW_No_Emissions.bin file. making sure I save each individual change in the TunerPro pop up window for the change. Then I save the ANLW_No_Emission file.

I can then open the ANLW_No_Emission.bin in Tuner Cats.

That's how I do it.

I sorta do the same thing but label my like ANLW.bin then ANLW_1st.bin and so on. Keeping track of what was changed is logged by tuner pro. But any file I changed in tuner pro cannot be opened in tuner cat, well it can it just dont look right? I'll have to mess with it some more....

I tried my method again, seems fine to me. Here are a couple screen shots of what I came up with after removing the EGR error code.

BTW notice the difference in the Tuner Cat Switch Table vs TunerPro Flags / Switches? Tuner Cats has more switches. Could be my version of the .XDF?

I don't really understand what differences your seeing between Tuner Cats vs. TunerPro? Maybe you can post a screen shot?

How do I post the screenshots?

On your Computer Keyboard (usually next to the F12 key) is a key Print Scrn. When you have your computer monitor screen showing what you want; press the Print Scrn key.

Then open up Paint from the All Programs drop down menu.

Once Paint is opened, select paste from the edit tool bar, the screen shot should appear in the Paint program.

Then save as (TunerPro or what you want to name the screen shot file) Paint file, I save the screen shot as a jpeg to the desktop.

On the CK5 post there is the option to Manage Attachments, selet the file you saved from paint and upload.

There are several steps to getting a screen shot on the CK5 post, so I can help with any questions you have.

Well I can now do screenshots, that will be useful info to have! However I can't make TunerCat duplicate that problem? I think it fixed itself as the graph looks normal now??
